A Nod to the Past

A Toast to the Present

The Spirit of Chopscotch

What’s in a name?

The name Chopscotch is a nod to two things we love. “Chop” honors our first restaurant (Hanover Street Chophouse) and represents the culinary craftsmanship our venues were founded on, while “Scotch” tips its hat to our love of fine beverages (whiskey and all).

It’s not an accident that it sounds like “hopscotch” either. You may have noticed, we’re a little smitten with all things vintage. So just like this timeless game of yesterday, we invite our community to hop, skip and savor their way through our dining destinations over and over. Each visit offers a memorable experience, full of the charm and character that define our treasured city.

Behind the Craft

The minds and hands

We think you’re only as good as the company you keep, and we’re in good company. We’re a team of classically trained and skilled chefs, seasoned hospitality professionals, talented bartenders and all-around good people. Every team member plays a role in shaping the spirit of Chopscotch. Here are just a few of our core leaders that contribute to our everyday successes:

He’s done it all—and he still does. Steven’s vision, hands-on approach and [seriously] good taste brings the energy and character to the Chopscotch family.
Stuart Cameron
Executive Chef
Chef Stuart brings precision, passion and 20+ years of culinary know-how to every one of our kitchens—and every plate is a testament to his craft.

Director of Operations

Mairin MacDonald
